Herb Baked Scallops

Herb Baked Scallops
  • 2 lbs. scallops
  • 1 stick butter (or less)
  • 2 tbs. chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 1/2 tsp. basil
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper 

 

  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Wash scallops in cold water and drain thoroughly on a paper towel 
  3. Place scallops in a single layer in a large shallow baking dish 
  4. Dot with butter & sprinkle with parsley, basil, salt and pepper
  5. Bake for 5 minutes (at 350) 
  6. Stir the scallops to coat well with the butter mixture
  7. Bake for 20 minutes longer or until tender
